FEATURES OF THE GP-0 & GP-2:

  • Size: These bikes can fit in almost any vehicle, including most hatchbacks! The decreased height guarantees greater safety for riders with a low center of gravity.

Design and bodywork: The seat/tank is in one piece to assure maximum strength, while petrol is contained in a 3.5l undertank. The main bodywork is divided into front, lateral and bottom fairings to limit damage if a fall occurs. The riding position, with adjustable rearsets and levers, is designed to ensure true sportbike ergonomics and optimal control to drivers of any size. To limit damages during a crash, the bike outfits teflon pads on the handlebar and footpeg ends.

Frame and swingarm: Mariano Fioravanzo states, “We started studying the centroids, sprocket position, chain pull, trail and steering offset, in order to arrive at the optimum weight distribution, judged on modern sportsbikes to be 53% at front and 47% at the rear”. The rear swingarm is made of aluminum alloy with variable section arms and extruded parts welded together at the ends.

Suspension: Each GP-0 has an inverted front fork with 33 mm stanchions and anodized aluminum legs, as well as a single rear shock adjustable for spring preload, compression and rebound damping with adjustable wheelbase through a system built in the frame. The 190 EVO and GP-2 feature CNC aluminum one-piece fork legs.  The GP-2 is also upgradeable to Mupo forks with 38 mm stanchions.

  • Engine: 4-stroke, 2 or 4 valves, automatic or 4-speed versions are available with electric (110 Auto only) or kick start, from 8hp to 25hp. Each bike has a stainless steel and titanium Arrow exhaust system with variable-diameter tubing. Even though lots of attention was dedicated to maximum performance, exhaust noise level is contained within the 92 dB limit, the maximum allowed at certain tracks. They are sealed and controlled by the company before delivery, so customers can take part in the one-make Ohvale championships.

Brakes: Contains 4-piston monobloc radial calipers with 180 mm (GP-0 110/160), 190mm or 220mm full floating disc at front (GP-0 190 EVO & GP-2), twin-piston calipers with 155 mm disc at the rear, sintered pads, braided hoses and adjustable levers.

Wheels: The GP-0 rims are 10″ aluminum alloy 3-spoke split design and are one of the main features of the GP-0 project. The PMT tires are made exclusively to Ohvale specifications to ensure a homogeneous feeling with the chassis and are stamped with the GP-0 logo.  The GP-2 rims are 12″ shell cast aluminum and feature captive wheel spacers to make wheel changes quick and easy.  The GP-2 features the new Pirelli Diablo Rosso SC Scooter tire.

Components: Parts obtained from CNC-machined, solid aluminum billet are: top steering stem with ball bearings, bottom steering and tapered aluminum roller bearings, adjustable handlebars and supports, footpegs, and adjustable shift and brake levers working on bearings with copper seals to ensure functionality and smoothness over time. The tank cap is aeronautical type.
